The purpose of the Presbyterian Student Associations of South Carolina shall be:
to unite in Christian fellowship and in common loyalty to Christ and His church all Presbyterian students in the educational institutions of the state this fellowship encompasses;
to challenge the students to serve in Christ's world;
to deepen the approach and strengthen the student work in each college or university center in out state through the sharing of resources and ideas;
to hold meetings at which time the common needs of the students and major challenges with which the church and world confronts students shall be presented and discussed by the student delegates to the end that they and their leaders man share in a sincere effort to make the Christian faith vital to present-day students;
to keep constantly before the state and constituent churches thereof the strategic importance of serving the academic community in the name of Christ ("Article II: Purpose" from the Westminster Collegiate Fellowship of South Carolina Constitution)
